The University of Kansas Aerospace Short Course Program was developed in 1977 to provide advanced training to professionals in the aerospace field. Working in conjunction with the University of Kansas Aerospace Engineering Department and the School of Engineering, the program has provided quality instruction by 90 industry and academic leaders in their fields for almost 30 years.
Some 20,000 individuals have attended a University of Kansas Aerospace Short Course on approximately 100 topics. These attendees have represented 48 states, the District of Columbia, and 50 countries. Each year approximately one-third of the attendees are foreign nationals. In addition to the University of Kansas campus, courses have been held in 22 states and 16 countries.
