Bill Goodwine is an Associate Professor in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. His research and teaching focus on nonlinear control and dynamical systems, with particular emphasis on geometric methods and hybrid systems. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the California Institute of Technology. He was the recipient of a National Science Foundation CAREER award and numerous departmental, college, university and ASEE teaching awards.
