Overview of adaptive material types, characteristics, and capabilities. Working principles of current and future flight-proven adaptive aerostructures will be presented. Classroom demonstrations of adaptive canards, stabilators, rudders, and ailerons will be presented for aircraft ranging from micro aerial vehicles through adaptive munitions up to F-15s.
Designed for managers and practicing engineers specializing in the development, analysis, and/or testing of advanced missiles, munitions, and UAVs.
