Mr. Tuttle is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in engineering management (industrial and systems engineering) at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He has served as a management consultant, project manager, project engineer and manufacturing manager with various Fortune 200 companies.

Linda Miller has taught classes in the engineering management program at the University of Kansas since 1987. Her professional experience includes positions as marketing director, sales manager and general manager in consumer, industrial and professional services marketing. She has worked for DuPont (Biomedical Division) and Baxter Healthcare and as a consultant for various engineering firms, including Black & Veatch. She also serves as a member of the board of directors of a publically traded corporation, MGPI.

Mick Quinn has extensive experience in human development, organizational behavior and group process. He is currently project manager at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, working specifically on strategic change and performance improvement in the organization. Mr. Quinn has been director of management development for Stormont-Vail Health Services Corporation in Topeka and a training manager at the University of Kansas. He has served as an organizational development consultant for Sprint and on the faculty of the Baker University School of Professional and Graduate Studies.
Mr. Quinn has worked with administrators, community leaders, program directors, public employees and other professionals. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Dr. Thomas E. Glavinich is professor of civil, environmental and architectural engineering at the University of Kansas, where he teaches courses in construction management and power systems engineering. Prior to joining KU in 1992, he was involved in the planning, design and construction of commercial, industrial, and utility facilities for 16 years.
Dr. Glavinich received a doctorate in engineering from KU in construction management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from KU and a master’s in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri. He is a registered professional electrical engineer in and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, and a fellow of the Architectural Engineering Institute. Dr. Glavinich is author of "Construction Planning & Scheduling," and is currently involved in several research and writing projects .

President of Richard Muther & Associates and author of "Computer-Aided Facilities Planning" and co-author with Richard Muther of "Systematic Planning of Industrial Facilities," Mr. Hales is internationally known for his contributions to advanced manufacturing. He is past director of the Facilities Planning and Design Division, Institute of Industrial Engineers, and a past member of the College Industry Council on Material Handling Education. Mr. Hales has assisted Nokia, Motorola, Coca-Cola, Ford, Delphi Automotive, Peterbilt Motors, Kenworth Truck, and many others.

Tom Bowlin has been an instructor in KU’s engineering management graduate program for more than 10 years and is an adjunct faculty member of KU School of Business. He has maintained an active consulting practice since 1989 with specializations in operations improvement and systems modeling. In addition to his current faculty appointments with KU, Dr. Bowlin has served on the adjunct faculties of both William Jewell College and Avila College, and as an assistant professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His teaching interests include mathematical optimization and simulation modeling, forecasting, statistics and innovation management.
Dr. Bowlin’s prior experience includes positions in the consulting department of an international accounting firm and as director of internal management engineering for a major healthcare organization. He earned a doctorate in industrial engineering from the University of Missouri, where he also completed received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the same discipline.
