| Description: | Grants are a viable way of obtaining funding for the fire service. This training will assist the participant in developing the skills to recognize the key components required to complete a successful grant application. While this training uses the “Assistance To Firefighter Grants” process as a training tool it is designed to be beneficial for completing almost all grant applications. Topics include needs assessment, need justification, benefit analysis, and proper documentation techniques. Although training scenarios are geared toward fire and EMS the techniques learned can be used by all emergency service organizations. |
