As the first-arriving officer or firefighter at a structure fire, wouldn’t it be great to know the layout of the building, how much fire you have, and where the fire is going so you would know where to draw your line-in-the-sand to contain the fire? This class is designed to provide both career firefighters and volunteers with detailed training and exercises to improve your effectiveness as a first-arriving officer or firefighter. It will provide you with an excellent opportunity to enhance your rapid decision-making skills. This course is an expanded version of "The Art of Reading Smoke."
