Registration

Registration is required. There is no fee. Space is limited, so please register today to insure that you have a seat. Advance registration will end on May 23, 2008. Walk-ins will be taken on a space-available basis.

All events will take place at Dodge City High School, 2201 Ross Blvd., Dodge City, Kansas.

Lodging

A block of rooms has been reserved at The Dodge House Hotel, 2408 W. Wyatt Earp, Dodge City, Kansas at the rate of $59 for double/single occupancy. To take advantage of the special rate, call 620-225-9900 by May 1, 2008 and mention that you will be attending the Response to School Violence Seminar. After May 1, room availability and rates cannot be guaranteed.

A block of rooms has been reserved at La Quinta Inn, 2400 W. Wyatt Earp, Dodge City, Kansas, at the rate of $70 for double/single occupancy. La Quinta Inn offers full services including complimentary full breakfast, pool, spa, etc. To take advantage of the special rate, call 620-225-7373 by April 30, 2008 and mention that you will be attending the Response to School Violence Seminar. After April 30, 2008, room availability and rates cannot be guaranteed.

Reimbursement for Lodging

All participants are eligible for reimbursement, following KDEM guidelines (your home must be greater than 50 miles from Dodge City), and a reimbursement form must be turned in on the third day of the event. Forms will be available on site.

Meals

Lunch will be provided on site each day; other meals are on your own.

Continuing Education Accreditation

Continuing education hours will be available for emergency management, EMS, law enforcement, school personnel and nurses.
