Writing Assignments

Ten exercises and one environmental issue paper

Assignment Submissions

Submit no more than two writing assignment in any seven-day period. Do not submit exercises for lesson 2 until those for lesson 1 have been returned to you. Thereafter, you may submit assignments without waiting for previous ones to be returned to you.

Supervised Exams

Two supervised exam (Midcourse Exam and Final Exam)

Time allowed for midcourse exam: 3 hours
Aids allowed for midcourse exam: calculator
Lessons covered onmidcourse exam: 1–5

Before you request to take the midcourse examination, you must have submitted the first five assignments. Your exam request will not be approved until the Student Services office has received these assignments. Do not submit the exercise for lesson six until you have taking the midcourse examination.

Lessons covered on final: 5 –10

Before you request to take the final examination, you must have submitted all the assignments in the course, including the environmental issue paper, and you must have received your grade for the midcourse examination. Your exam request will not be approved until the Student Services office has received all required assignments.
