Number of Lessons: 16

Number of Writing Assignments: 16

Writing assignment 2 may not be submitted until the first assignment has been graded and returned to you. The remainder of the assignments may be submitted without waiting for previous ones to be returned.

Number of Supervised Exams: 2 (midcourse and final)

Time allowed for midcourse: 1 hour
Aids allowed for midcourse: none
Lessons covered on midcourse: 1-10
The first 10 writing assignments must be submitted before you apply to take the midcourse exam.

Time allowed for final: 2 hours
Aids allowed for final: none
Lessons covered on final: 1-16
Before you apply to take the final examination you must have received a grade for the midcourse exam and all the assignments in the course must have been corrected and returned to you.

Course Grading Formula:

Writing Assignments = 50%
Midcourse Exam = 20%
Final Exam = 30%

You must pass the final exam to pass the course.
