Number of Units: 4

Number of Lessons: 15

Number of Writing Assignments: 4 (An activity option graded satisfactory or unsatisfactory is completed at the end of each unit.)

Number of Exams: 2 (A supervised midterm exam follows Units I and II and a supervised final follows Units III and IV.)

Time allowed for exams: 3 hours
Aids allowed for exams: none
Lessons covered on exams: the midterm covers Units I and II; the final covers Units III and IV.

Complete the writing assignments and exams in sequence; do not apply for the midterm exam until you have completed the writing assignments for Units I and II. Do not apply for the final until you have received a grade for the midterm exam and completed the writing assignments for Units III and IV.

Behavior-Analysis Project: In addition to the writing assignments and exams, a three-phase behavior-analysis project must be completed. Each of the phases is submitted separately to your instructor. The project counts for a total of 200 points, according to the following scheme: Phase I: 80 points; Phase II: 80 points; Phase III: 40 points.

Course Grading Formula:

exams = 180 points
writing assignments = 120 points
Behavior-Analysis Project = 200 points
Total = 500 points
