The Family Medicine Spring Symposium is designed primarily for family physicians with a goal of improving physician competence.This symposium will feature issues related to liver disease.
Continuing Education Credit
Continuing education credit for this program is being offered to nurses through the KU Area Health Education Center East, Pittsburg, Kan. Approval for CME credit through the American Academy of Family Physicians is pending. For accreditation information, contact Trudy Sims at 316-293-1894.

Registration
This event is designed for family physicians, but registration is open to physicians in all specialties. Physician assistants and advanced nurse practitioners may also benefit and are encouraged to attend. The registration fee is $75. The fee includes a course syllabus, refreshments and lunch. There will be no paper handouts. Upon receipt of your registration, you will be directed to the website and will be able to print handouts after April 6.
With preregistration, resident physicians and medical students may attend without charge. Lunch will be provided.
Early registration is recommended. Seating, materials, and refreshments may not be available for on-site registrants.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds requested in writing by Friday, April 6, are subject to a $15 administrative charge. No refunds will be made after April 6, 2012. A $30 fee will also be charged for returned checks. KU Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel the course and return all fees in the event of insufficient registration. The liability of the University of Kansas is limited to the registration fee. The University of Kansas will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.
