This symposium introduces state-of-the-art clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Participants will learn about early diagnosis and management of device and lead malfunction. Current treatment strategies for atrial and ventricular arrhythmias will be discussed. Medical, surgical and percutaneous catheter ablation techniques to treat arrhythmias will be compared. Experts will discuss effective risk stratification strategies in the prevention and treatment of sudden cardiac arrest and heart failure. In addition, there will be focused lectures on the management of inherited channelopathies and neurocardiogenic syncope. This two-day program will address the growing educational needs in the field of cardiac electrophysiology for the greater Midwest region.
This symposium is designed for electrophysiologists, cardiologists, fellows, electrophysiology laboratory/outpatient nurses and technicians, and extended nurse providers.
