Dr. Manohar Sai Gowda Memorial Young Investigator Cardiovascular Research Award
The life of Dr. Manohar Sai Gowda was one continuous learning and education. He was a dedicated and compassionate physician who provided excellent care to his patients. Over the course of his training, Dr. Gowda published several abstracts in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at national meetings. In addition to his clinical skills and contributions to cardiovascular research, he is remembered by his colleagues as brilliant, insightful, and extremely hard-working. He was rarely seen without a smile, and was unfailingly kind and thoughtful to all with whom he interacted.
We are pleased to announce the Third Annual Dr. Manohar Sai Gowda Memorial Young Investigator Cardiovascular Research Award, to be presented at the 2012 Kansas City Heart Rhythm Symposium. This award has been established in appreciation of the late Dr. Gowda’s contributions to cardiovascular research as both an investigator and a mentor to young investigators.
