Accreditation

All participants are required to sign attendance rosters at the beginning of the morning and the afternoon sessions. A certificate of completion will be provided to all symposium participants based on documentation of actual attendance time, meeting minimum attendance requirements specific to the activity, and payment in full. If you are not paid in full, your certificate will be mailed to you upon receipt of payment.

Nurses

Up to 6 contact hours will be awarded to all individuals based on documentation of actual attendance time, meeting minimum attendance requirements specific to the activity, and payment in full.

University of Kansas School of Nursing is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Physicians

The KU Medical Center Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The KU Medical Center Office of Continuing Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits^TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Psychological Association

The University of Kansas Clinical Child Psychology Program is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The University of Kansas Clinical Child Psychology Program maintains responsibility for this program and its content. This symposium will offer a maximum of 6 hours of continuing education credit.
