This symposium provides updated information and skill development for healthcare professionals to enable them to improve the quality of care they deliver. Paired presentations will involve two components:
The symposium will focus on current trends and treatment, using practical, evidence-based applications. Participants will use evidence-based protocols applicable to their daily practice, including injury prevention. There will be two 30-minute case studies focusing on a surgical procedure—how it was done and required rehabilitation. The discussion will follow a case from pre-surgery through rehabilitation. The event will conclude with a formal panel discussion and question and answer session.
This symposium is designed for physical therapists, athletic trainers, occupational therapists and others with an interest in sports medicine.
