A full refund of registration fees, less a $15 administrative fee, will be available if requested in writing and received by July 18, 2008. No refunds will be made after that date. A $30 fee also will be charged for returned checks.(Please note that if you fail to cancel by the deadline and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.)
KU Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel the Sports Medicine symposium and return all fees in the event of insufficient registration. The liability of the University of Kansas is limited to the registration fee. The University of Kansas will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.
All events will take place at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center, 2345 McGee Street, Kansas City, Mo. While attending this activity, you can be reached at 816-421-1234. Callers should ask for the KU Medical Center Sports Medicine Symposium. Please bring a sweater or jacket, since temperatures can be difficult to control in large rooms.

Hyatt Crown Center provides valet parking at the following rates: Short-term (in & out the same day) $9; overnight $17--with in/out privileges. Self-parking is also available at the following rates: Overnight $13.50 with in/out privileges. Banquet validation $4 (3 hours); Early Bird $7 (in before 10am and out the same day). This hotel cannot accommodate vehicles that are taller than 6'9" (i.e., no motor homes/tall vans, etc).
Participants wishing to stay overnight are encouraged to book rooms as soon as possible to secure the best obtainable rate; room availability cannot be guaranteed. The Westin Crown Center is within walking distance of the Hyatt Regency Crown Center; reservations at the Westin Crown Center may be made by calling 816-474-4400 or online at www.starwoodhotels.com.
