KUMC Continuing Education (KUMC CE) utilizes an electronic continuing education documentation system (eedsTM ) to manage registration and provide continuing education transcripts/certificates for accredited regularly scheduled series. Participants qualifying for continuing education credit will receive an electronic eeds account at www.eeds.com. Participants may also enter self-declared continuing education activities into their account.
Qualified individuals attending conferences which utilize an eeds terminal to document attendance will receive a personalized eeds swipe card and account. Individuals with "cardless" accounts will be issued an account and PIN #. You will need your PIN # to access your online account at www.eeds.com for the first time. If you don’t know your PIN #, please call 913-588-4496. After swiping in (or registering), the participant’s continuing education information will be available in their account at www.eeds.com after registrations are transmitted from the terminal.
Transcripts and certificates may be viewed and generated at no cost to the participant during the complimentary subscription month. Once you select the month for your complimentary subscription it cannot be changed. We recommend that you select the month prior to your relicensure. If you need to access your transcript/certificate(s) at multiple times during the year, or you need to replace a certificate/transcript, you may purchase additional access at www.eeds.com.
If the monthly subscription feature is not activated in your account and it’s time to print your transcript/certificate(s) for relicensure, please contact KUMC CE at (913)588-4496. Accounts will be activated during the programming year following a review of your documented attendance. Complimentary monthly subscriptions are activated yearly for individuals with the highest attendance rate. Participants who do not receive a complimentary monthly subscription will receive their transcript/certificate by mail.
KUMC CE will continue to maintain all continuing education records for six years.
KUMC and non-KUMC participants qualifying for continuing education credit will receive an eeds card. (Individuals without access to an eeds terminal will receive a cardless account.)
KUMC residents and fellows will receive an eeds card.
Initial cards will be requested by the individual managing registration on-site. One card will be issued for attendance at all KUMC accredited regularly scheduled series.
Replacement cards must be ordered online by the participant at www.eeds.com at their own expense (currently $5 plus postage). Participants may receive a replacement card for the cost of postage only by completing an online continuing education needs survey.
In the "Available Purchases" box, click on "Take Needs Survey." After completing this short survey, you will receive a $4.99 discount on your replacement card request.
You may still receive credit by completing the "Forgot Your eedsTM Card?" registration form. Please write legibly. Your attendance will be manually entered into the eeds system at a later date.Credit for non-swiping participants will not be available immediately following the session.
