This program provides information on college preparation and leadership development to the Asian American high school population in Kansas. The program will be formatted to address issues of breaking stereotypes, empowerment, higher education preparation, and leadership development as students explore their college options.
The Asian American Leadership Symposium is designed to recognize high academic-achieving Asian American students and provide tools for leadership and college preparation. This program is not a substitute for a campus visit to KU. If you and your students are interested in visiting KU, please contact the Office of Admissions & Scholarships to set up a time to visit. Check out www.admissions.ku.edu/visit to learn about the many visit options, or call 785-864-3911.
