This annual event brings outstanding black high school students from across the state to the KU campus. Students and adult leaders hear national and regional speakers address critical issues facing today's black youth.
The Black Leadership Symposium is designed to recognize high academic-achieving African American students and provide tools for leadership and college preparation. This program is not a substitute for a campus visit to KU. If you and your students are interested in visiting KU, please contact the Office of Admissions & Scholarships to set up a time to visit. Check out www.admissions.ku.edu/visit to learn about the many visit options, or call 785-864-3911. If you and your students are interested in other multicultural events at the University of Kansas, check out the Office of Multicultural Affairs events calendar at www.oma.ku.edu.
