Registration

The deadline to register is October 13, 2011. No registrations will be accepted after that date. The registration staff will take registrations in the order they were received. There is a maximum number of people that will be allowed to attend due to space capacity at the KU Memorial Union. Register early and allow for extra mailing time!

*For Symposium attendees in the surrounding Wichita area, transportation is available from a centralized location in Wichita, by bus, to our campus. This shuttle service increases the total fee to $20 per person.

How to Register

Counselors must use a Registration Code to register students. A recent e-mail to counselors included the registration code. If you have not received a registration code, please call Candy Dettbarn at 785-864-4790 for the codes.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

A full refund of registration fees, less a $15 administrative fee, will be available if requested in writing and received by October 13, 2011. No refunds will be made after that date. A $30 fee also will be charged for returned checks. (Please note that if you fail to cancel by the deadline and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.) KU Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel the Black Leadership Symposium and return all fees in the event of insufficient registration. The liability of the University of Kansas is limited to the registration fee. The University of Kansas will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.
