Book Review Contest:
Reading Gets You There
WIN A CASH PRIZE!
Show your leadership skills by reading a book and writing about it! Read any or all of the books on the list and choose one to review. A panel of judges will select three students to win either a $100, $75 or $50 cash prize for the best book review. Winners will be announced during the symposium.
Book reviews will be judged on these criteria:
- Writing style and use of language
- Grammar and punctuation
- Depth of understanding of the book
- Critical thinking and analysis
- Clarity and creativity
Submission guidelines: Provide your name, grade, school, home address and home phone number. Deadline for submission is Monday, October 6, 2008.
Must attend symposium to win.
