Goal of the Latino Leadership Symposium

The Latino Leadership Symposium is designed to recognize high academic-achieving Latino students and provide tools for leadership and college preparation. This program is not a substitute for a regular campus visit to KU. If you and your students are interested in visiting KU, please contact the Office of Admissions & Scholarships to set up a time to visit. If you and your students are interested in other multicultural events at the University of Kansas, check out the Office of Multicultural Affairs events calendar at www.oma.ku.edu.

To participate, students must meet the following criteria:

• Be enrolled in grades 9–12
• Have a 2.5 cumulative GPA
• Exhibit leadership potential
