Marisol Romo
Marisol Romo is a native Kansan, born and raised in the capital city of Topeka. After graduating from Hayden High School, Marisol enrolled at the University of Kansas. There she studied broadcast journalism before switching her major to study film.
After four years at KU, Marisol traveled to Los Angeles to chase her dreams of working in the Hollywood film industry. She successfully landed small re-occurring roles in television, performed and was very active in local theater, and became one of only seven Latina stunt women working in the industry. Marisol also earned a certificate in radio broadcasting and spent time as a radio personality for stations in California and Kansas.
While in Los Angeles, Marisol also met her husband. Now married seven years, she is back in her hometown raising two children. Marisol is currently leveraging her skills as a relationship builder and has started a new career in human resources working for a state agency.
