Do you have a special interest or hobby? Would you like to get together with like- minded people? Are you seeking an audience for a performance?
The KU Osher Lifelong Learning Institute wants to support members who would like to start a special interest group.
Many of the 112 Osher Institutes in the United States involve members through special interest groups. These include drama clubs (George Mason University), a puppet theatre (Southern Maine), choral ensembles (University of Oregon), a "Dirty Knees" gardening club (George Mason University), and a wide variety of other groups.
If you are interested in leading, assisting, or joining a new, member-organized activity, please contact David Wilson, Director, 864-7873, dmwilson@ku.edu . Call now so we can begin next fall. We will help you plan, organize, and hold your first meeting.
If you would like to become a member of the KU Osher Institute, submit the online membership form.
