(CPM) Program
The Kansas Certified Public Manager program was established in 1993, since that time almost 1,000 public managers have completed certification through the program.
Over the course of this year-long program — which begins in January and concludes with a December graduation — candidates attend classes on a consecutive Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (24-hour blocks) for 12 consecutive months, for a total of 288 contact hours.
The Certified Public Manager certificate is a nationally recognized emblem of management excellence. The Kansas CPM program complies with the guidelines and standards established by the National Certified Public Manager Consortium and its curriculum requirements. Other Kansas CPM partners include:

The Public Management Center is located on 10th Street, about one quarter mile west of the Statehouse and directly across the street from Topeka High School.
