Participants will discover how to permanently eliminate process defects from their operations. First-day topics include the difference between errors and defects, three basic concepts of zero defects, three types of Poka-Yoke devices, practical steps in mistake-proofing methodology, and a hands-on exercise in mistake-proofing. Second-day presentations will directly apply mistake-proofing techniques to correct defects in attendees’ workplaces. Participants will not only learn the theory of effective mistake-proofing, but will also gain hands-on experience and actually eliminate defects in their facilities.
