
Autism Across the Life Span will address the pressing needs of families, rehabilitation professionals, service providers and educators with special relevance to communities throughout Kansas.
Five overarching program strands Community Living, Employment, Transition, Social Skills/Behavioral Supports and Early Education will offer both breadth and depth for anyone working with, caring for or caring about a toddler, school-age child, teenager, or adult with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Evidenced-based practices will be the theme of the program content.

Conference check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7. Conference materials will be available at that time. A limited number of scholarships for conference registration (registration fees only, not lodging or travel, etc.) are available to family members of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. To apply, please complete the Registration Scholarship Request Form and mail it to the address on the form. DO NOT REGISTER until you receive notice that you have been awarded a scholarship. If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be provided with an authorization code to register at this site. You will be promptly notified if you are not awarded a scholarship as well.
CEUs will be provided without charge to individuals with a paid conference registration and who have requested available CEUs. For this conference, one CEU credit will be available from the University of Kansas or from ASHA.

A full refund of registration fees, less a $15 administrative fee, will be available if requested in writing and received by October 23. No refunds will be made after that date. A $30 fee also will be charged for returned checks. (Please note that if you fail to cancel by the deadline and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.) KU Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel Autism Across the Life Span and return all fees in the event of insufficient registration. The liability of the University of Kansas is limited to the registration fee. The University of Kansas will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.
