The registration fee includes a conference packet, name badge, entry to all sessions and parking permit.

A full refund of registration fees, less a $15 administrative fee, will be available if requested in writing and received by April 16, 2009. No refunds will be made after that date. A $30 fee also will be charged for returned checks. (Please note that if you fail to cancel by the deadline and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.) KU Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel the City & County Management Conference and return all fees in the event of insufficient registration. The liability of the University of Kansas is limited to the registration fee. The University of Kansas will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.
Thursday and Friday sessions will be held in the Kansas Union on the University of Kansas main campus.
An all-day permit for the parking garage north of the Kansas Union is included in your registration fee. Please check the box on the registration form, if you want a permit mailed to you. Otherwise, you may pick up your parking permit at the registration desk on Thursday, April 23, and you will have to pay for the first hour of parking.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott, 1 Riverfront Plaza, Lawrence. To make reservations, call 785-841-2700 or fax 785-749-1477. To receive the conference rate of $87 plus tax for king or double, make your reservations by March 25, 2009, and specify that you will be attending the City County Managers Conference. Room availability and rates cannot be guaranteed after March 25, 2009. If you would like a list of other lodging options, check the box on the registration form.
