Become an Instructor
Whether you are looking to instruct classes professionally, or simply for the enjoyment of sharing your knowledge, you may be the next addition to our talented list of faculty. KU Continuing Education features a well-respected roster of faculty for our courses and programs, and many of our programs start as ideas from our faculty. If you have research you would like to build into an academic program or short course, please contact us. Our management professionals will work with you to put together a plan for a successful program.
For some instructors, our Osher Lifelong Learning Institute becomes an excellent vehicle for you to teach a course based on your passion and knowledge. We have had previous courses taught on subjects such as religion, food and wine, history, politics, technology and the arts. A list of current courses and their titles are available here. If you are interested in becoming an Osher instructor, contact Jim Peters, Director of the Osher Institute at KU at 785-864-9142 or jpeters1@ku.edu. For non-Osher programs, please contact Gina Cregg, Sr. Associate Director of Continuing Education/Director of Center for Professional Education Programs • 785-864-7878 • gcregg@ku.edu.
