Project Management Professional Exam Preparation Seminar
Tuesday–Friday • May 3–6, 2011 • Overland Park
This comprehensive four-day class will prepare you for the PMP® Exam as well as provide all the credit hours necessary to be eligible to take the exam (35 PDUs). The course not only covers all exam information but also allows you to practice application of the PMBOK® Guide standard through online practice exams and in class case study examples. The class will end with a full-length practice exam administered at individual computers, just like the PMP® Exam.
Important changes in the Project Management Professional Exam
The Project Management Institute (PMI®) has a new version of the Project Management Professional (PMP®) Exam scheduled to begin on August 31, 2011. There are no changes to the eligibility criteria, application process or passing score, and the PMBOK® Guide, 4th Edition, is still the basis for the test. However, PMI® says that approximately 30% of the content on the PMP® Examination will be new or have substantial changes to reflect what they learned from their recent Role Delineation Study (RDS). Specifically, the Professional and Social Responsibility content area will be covered in every domain (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing) as opposed to being a stand-alone domain. PMP®
Exam preparation providers and texts are updating their materials to reflect the new testing format, but it will take time to insure that their new material and practice questions accurately portray the changes in the exam. If you hope to take the exam this year, you should consider preparing with us and taking the PMP® Exam prior to September.
