Michael McCartney is founder and principal of Quality Logistics Management (QLM).
Established in 1993, QLM Consulting is an authorized EPC Global Solutions Provider. For the last eight years, his consulting practice has focused on RFID technology and its implementation, specializing in all phases of RFID deployment and supply chain management. In 2004, McCartney established the first RFID Perishable Testing Center inside a working production plant, and assisted in the establishment of the first EPC-certified RFID lab in Europe in June 2005 at the Danish Technological Institute, Copenhagen, Denmark. Mr. McCartney tutored in post-graduate International Economics at Oxford University, England, and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California–Berkeley. He holds a graduate-level teaching credential from the state of California.
