Welcome to the 57th Annual Structural Engineering Conference. Each year, hundreds of professional engineers and those in the structural engineering industry convene at the University of Kansas to hear about current research and listen to outstanding speakers. One such speaker this year will be Charles W. Roeder, recipient of the 2011 AISC T.R. Higgins Award. He will speak at 8:40 a.m. about SCBF Gusset Plate Connection Design. In the afternoon session related to bridges, speakers will focus on fatigue and fracture control in steel bridges and bridge construction, and for those more interested in buildings, the focus will be on the effects of recent earthquake damage.

Attendees receive a certificate for 7 PDHs
