KU Continuing Education specializes in offering educational programs for a 21st Century workforce. We see an evolutionary change in industries and their workforce needs. One example of emerging needs is in the area of biosciences training. KU Continuing Education, in partnership with the Higuchi Biosciences Center, delivers noncredit short courses to bioscience industry scientists in areas such as analytical chemistry and microbiology. Even the most recent degree programs do not fully prepare these scientists for the demands of a burgeoning bioscience industry in the greater Kansas City area. This program is sponsored through a grant by the National Science Foundation.
Many types of programs are available to match sophisticated workforce training needs. KU Continuing Education’s Aerospace Program provides support to aerospace engineers around the globe. Kansas police officers learn best practices through sophisticated educational technology. By tapping university expertise over a broad spectrum of disciplines, we are able to help you determine content and delivery options for your area of interest.
Let KU Continuing Education help you plan for your workplace of the future by creating a custom short course. We can bring the program to you live with face-to-face interaction, or provide it to you through electronic synchronous or asynchronous delivery.
